| Bio: | I was born in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. My father is a Saudi, but my mother is an American of German and Greek descent, which makes me (along with my older sister) a bit of a mixed breed. We lived in Saudi Arabia until I was nine, at which point we moved to a small suburban town in the East San Francisco Bay Area. I never learned Arabic growing up, and, since I was pretty young when we moved, I didn't know much about my Arab heritage either, so I decided to move back to Saudi Arabia for university. I'm currently in my junior year, studying Chemical Engineering (the classes are taught in English, in case you were wondering). In general, I would say I'm a pretty geeky guy. I've been playing video games since I was five (Pole-Position in the arcades; I was too small to press the pedal and see the screen at the same time :P), and I've always loved math and the sciences. I've also been playing around with computers since I was little (the "386" in my name is a reference to my family's first computer, a laptop with the 386SL processor), and continue to fiddle with them to this day. :D | |
